Privacy policy

The protection of personal data (hereinafter referred to as "data") is very important to torq.partners People GmbH. Whether data is collected and for what purpose it is processed is explained in the following data protection information.

The controller in the sense of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter "GDPR") for the processing of personal data is:

torq.partners People GmbH
Große Hamburger Straße 17
10115 Berlin

In addition to contacting us by mail, you can reach our data protection officer at dsb@kertos.io if you have any questions regarding the protection of your personal data.

Below, we have compiled the most important information on typical data processing activities, separated by the types of use of our websites, for you.

1. Visiting our websites

Server log files

Our web server processes a series of data with each request that your browser automatically transmits to our web server, known as server log files. These include:

  • The IP address assigned to your device at the time of the visit
  • Date and time of the request, as well as the time zone
  • The specific page or file accessed
  • The HTTP status code and the amount of data transferred
  • The so-called referrer URL (the website from which your request originated)
  • Information about the browser used, the operating system of your device, and the language settings

Our web server uses this data to display the content of this website optimally on your device. The legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in ensuring IT security, the stability of the web server, and the needs-based design of our websites. Your IP address will be automatically deleted or anonymized in accordance with legal deadlines.

‍

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics on our websites, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies". These are small text files that are stored on your computer and enable an analysis of your use of the website.

Data processing is carried out exclusively based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR), which you provide to us via our cookie banner. You can revoke your consent there at any time with effect for the future.

The information generated by these cookies about your use of our websites is usually transmitted to a Google server and stored there. This may also involve a transfer to Google LLC in the USA. For data transfers to the USA, there is an adequacy decision by the EU Commission (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), to which Google is subject.

IP anonymization is activated for our websites, meaning your IP address will be truncated by Google within the European Union or in another contracting state of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

Google will use this information as our processor in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR to evaluate your use of our websites, to compile reports on activities on our websites, and to provide us with other services related to the use of our websites and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings accordingly or deactivate the collection of data by downloading and installing the browser plugin provided by Google.

2. Contacting us

You can contact us at any time. The personal data you provide to us will be stored and processed. The purpose of processing is the preparation and execution of a contractual relationship or other communication.

The legal basis for processing your data in the case of contracts or pre-contractual measures is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. For general inquiries, it is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest here is to answer your inquiry and to document communication processes. Furthermore, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR forms the legal basis if tax and commercial law retention obligations require this.

Contact and contract data may be transmitted to other service providers, business partners, as well as offices and authorities, if this is necessary for the execution of the contract or order. We also use service providers for commissioned processing (Art. 28 GDPR) in the provision of services. Data of contract partners and service providers are generally deleted ten calendar years after the termination of the contract or order, unless legal retention periods prevent this.

‍

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and for any follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent. The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (if the inquiry serves to prepare a contract) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in processing your request).

‍

Download of content and Marketing consent (case studies and newsletter)

If you download case studies or other content from our website and give us your consent to do so, we process your contact data (e.g., name, email address) to send you the requested content and to keep you informed via email about current HR trends, our services, and our newsletter.

The legal basis for this processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time and without stating reasons with effect for the future – for example, via the "Unsubscribe" link in any email or by sending an informal message to info@fridaypoppins.de.

3. Data of our business partners

We process your data for the purpose of initiating and/or performing the contractual relationship.

The legal bases for processing the data of business partners who are natural persons are Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR, as we are legally obliged to store business-related data due to commercial and tax law regulations. The legal basis for processing contact person data for business partners who are not natural persons is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR; our legitimate interest in this is, in particular, communication with our business partners.

In individual cases, it may be necessary for the performance of the contract to transfer your data to companies entrusted by us with the provision of individual services. These third parties commissioned by us are in turn obliged to comply with legal regulations when handling and processing this data. Recipients of data may also include banks and payment service providers, if and to the extent that this is necessary for the processing of payments and credit checks. In individual cases, data may also be transmitted to debt collection service providers, lawyers, and courts.

Providing data is legally and contractually obligatory for customers. Without providing data, a contractual relationship cannot be established or performed.
